Employee Activities (voluntary work for the community)

As part of SMI's 'People and Organisational Development Programme', we value our team's development and have created a unique link to 'Give Back' within our company package. Within our current employee package we have set aside 2 days paid leave for every employee to invest back into local community programmes.

Employees have the opportunity to take part in their personal or local community programmes within areas such as:

We are currently developing, in conjunction with the local community, ideas and programmes that our team may wish to take part in. A typical example of this is 'Maggies Bike and Hike', an event in which some of our team have taken part for the last two consecutive years monster2007@scottish-southern.co.uk

Celebration

In April 2007 we celebrated our second anniversary as a company and invited all of our employees to a special event held in Edinburgh. This was very well received and everyone had a great time. We were amazed by how quickly the last two years had passed.
