CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (caring for our community)
Here at SMI, we firmly believe that the future and current impact that we create within our local community, here in Stirling, is an area we need to continuously manage closely. We intend to develop our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme in conjunction with our neighbours and the local community, and wish to further develop raising the awareness of how we will manage our impact. It is important to us that whilst we continue to establish ourselves here, in Stirling University’s Science Park that we always work alongside our neighbours in a positive way. We feel privileged to work in a very beautiful part of Scotland and take our CSR responsibilities very seriously now, and in our future development.

In order that we manage our strategy successfully, we have developed a cross-functional team based at Stirling and created a model to split CSR into 6 key functional areas.
The team are currently organising an approach which will create a positive impact on our environment, neighbours, associations and community. We are committed to putting as much value back into the local and global community as we can.
