Edinburgh Science Festival Lecture

On the evening of Tuesday 10th April, Stirling Medical Innovations were the proud sponsors of the ‘Medical Matters’ series of talks which was a sub section of the Edinburgh International Science Festival. Our guest evening took place in the Royal Museum where Dr Frank Peacock MD presented a one hour presentation to an audience of 200 people entitled ‘Heart Attacks: Killers in Disguise!’ Frank highlighted the statistics surrounding global and local Scottish figures connected with Heart Attacks and specifically the tell-tale signs associated with early diagnosis and treatment for all age sectors.

The evening was a tremendous success and culminated in some excellent questions directed towards Frank at the end of the session. SMI would like to thank Frank for his professional and enthusiastic session. Our continued drive to deliver our vision, was very well aligned and represented by his talk. We care about making a difference and raising public awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle to enhance life. As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, we intend to continue aligning ourselves with events and activities that will raise public awareness of Heart Disease and its effects. Please find Frank’s slides within our ‘Education Section’ under ‘Healthy Lifestyle'.
